Manage Friends

Adding your friends on Essential allows you to chat with them anywhere on Minecraft. You can also create group chats.

Sending friend requests

1. Open the Social menu
2. Press the blue Add Friend button
3. Enter your friend’s Minecraft username
4. And confirm with Add to send out the friend request

Accepting friend requests

1. Open the Social menu
2. Enter the Friends tab
3. See friend requests in the middle panel
4. Accept or deny them

Muting, removing, and blocking a “friend”

1. Open the Social menu
2. Select your friends in the Chat or Friends tab
3. Press the ≡ button
4. Choose to mute, remove or block the “friend”
